Gemstones in Scripture

Gemstones in Scripture have amazingly beautiful deep meaning. However, the mystery of gems in the Bible has not yet been revealed to everyone. As a result, it is tempting to give meaning to them yourself, which would create the possibility for the Holy Spirit to be exchanged for the Kundalini spirit.

Thumbnail for Bible study on Three and a Half Years, 1260 Days, and 42 Months in Revelation

3½ years, 1260 days, 42 months

Three and a half years, forty-two months, twelve hundred and sixty days and a time – times and a half times are terms that are all about the same period of time.
This period is often mentioned together with a seven-year tribulation in the end times.
Much has been spoken and written about this period, often, however, from a carnal understanding, without properly understanding the voice of the Spirit.

Yes, following Jesus.   But where is He going?

Christ in us; the Hope of Glory

Christ in us; the hope of Glory is a statement by the apostle Paul often quoted among believers.
It appears, however, that many people do not understand exactly what those words mean.

These words have deep spiritual meaning.
Join us as we explore the revelation of this mystery.

Thumbnail for Bible study on Render unto Caesar, taxes, and biblical meaning of identity and image

Taxes to Caesar

This story about whether or not we should pay taxes to Caesar is not a story about money!

The Pharisees ask Jesus, Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar? Jesus’ answer is, give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s. From this we might conclude that Jesus says that the emperor and God are two comparable entities, who would have in common that obedience is required to both. This, of course, is far from what Jesus actually means!
But what did He mean?  Have a look!

Thorns & Thistles

Did you know the crown of thorns Jesus wore and the thorn in the flesh of Paul have everything to do with each other!

Natural things are used throughout the Bible to explain the spiritual. For example, Jesus tells about a sower who went out to sow in a field. The seed is a picture of the gospel, the field is the heart of the one who hears it, and the sower is the one who brings the message. However, not only the good seed of the Word of God grows in all hearts.
….Thorns and thistles also grow in some hearts.

Thumbnail for Bible study about the true meaning of the Sabbath day according to the Bible

Sabbath: not a law but a promise!

Is Sunday rest a command from the Bible?
According to the Bible, are we supposed to rest on Sundays?
And are we then not allowed to mow the grass, carpenter a chicken coop or paint the house?

Indeed, throughout the Bible there is mention of rest and of a specific day of rest. This day of rest is called the Sabbath.

Let’s explore what the Sabbath really is and why God would not allow us to work on Sunday.

A THORN IN THE FLESH

Much has been said about the thorn in the flesh with Paul. However, you will often find a lot of speculation in their explanations. For example, there is speculation that the thorn in Paul’s flesh would be that he was visually impaired.

The meaning of the thorn in the flesh and of God’s words to Paul “My grace is sufficient for you” are explored in this study entirely and only from the Bible. A logical and biblical explanation is given in which the unconditional love of God is clearly revealed.

Hell

Hell. What and where is it exactly? Who are going there? What does it look like?

These are questions many people have about hell. The Bible itself provides us the answers when we see with spiritual eyes and hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
(Revelation 2:7, 11, 17 etc.)

Lucifer, The Fallen Cherub

Lucifer, the fallen cherub. ….or, is he?

The descriptions of Cherubim in the Bible are very fascinating. But what is the role of those beings? Was Satan also a cherub? What is the origin and meaning of Lucifer?
I pray that this study may help you discover another deeper layer in the Bible.

A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH

The Bible gives us the promise of a new heaven and a new earth, a new creation. But when will that happen? And how? And what will happen to the old heaven and earth?

The Tabernacle of Moses  provides us with answers, but also John in the book of Revelation can teach us a lot about this. This is not surprising, for God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

The Second Coming Of Christ

Jesus said: A little while, and you will no longer see Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me. (John 16 :16)
When will that short time end and where exactly will He return? In this study all those questions will be answered! The Bible itself has the answer.

Have a look and let me know what you think!

Thumbnail for Bible study on Matthew 24:27 – Lightning from East to West and Christ’s Coming

AS THE LIGHTNING COMES FROM THE EAST

This suggests an unexpected coming of Christ, but that would contradict other scriptures. So let’s explore and learn!

KNOWING ABOUT VS KNOWING

There is a big difference between knowing about God and really knowing God.
It is the difference between gnosis and epignosis, between “having heard about” and knowing personally, between religion and relationship.

Do you know God personally? Do you have ears to hear what His Spirit is saying to you?
